Setembro Amarelo: Viver vale a pena

Pelo terceiro ano consecutivo, o Plaza Shopping adere à campanha de conscientização sobre a prevenção ao suicídio. A ação começa a ser realizada nesta sexta-feira, 10 de setembro, Dia Mundial de Prevenção do Suicídio. Desta vez, ilustrações do designer, grafiteiro e ilustrador Thiago Teas, o Véio (@veio_art), conhecido pela assinatura “Hoje vai ser massa”, serão usadas para transmitir mensagens de carinho e acolhimento aos clientes. Elas estarão estampadas em ativações espalhadas pelo mall. Também serão distribuídas no formato de cartões postais em totem situado no piso L3.

“Sabemos que a Covid-19 teve um impacto sem precedentes na saúde mental da população. Muitas pessoas estão passando por desafios enormes e nada melhor do que a arte para nos ajudar a ressignificar este momento. Por isso convidamos Véio, que já trabalha arte urbana e tem mensagens em várias paredes aqui na cidade, para criar essas ilustrações”, explica Karina Dourado, superintendente do Plaza Shopping.

O objetivo é que a linguagem usada na campanha atinja o máximo de pessoas possível, seja ao circularem pelo mall, levando-as consigo ou para alguém que está precisando desse acolhimento. São três opções de cartão postal com as seguintes mensagens: “Viver vale a pena”, “Você é massa” e “Seja seu maior fã”.  

A ação do Setembro Amarelo do Plaza Shopping deste ano também pode ser conferida nos seus perfis nas mídias sociais (@plazacasaforte). Em 2020, o Plaza recebeu os clientes com mensagens de valorização da vida: “Você é incrível”, “Não desista”, “Você não está sozinho”, “Falar é a melhor solução”, “Abra seu coração”, “Desabafe” e “Procure ajuda”, entre outras. Em 2019, a escada do Piso L1 teve seus degraus ativados com mensagens que visavam conscientizar as pessoas da atenção a esse problema de saúde pública e dos cuidados que todos precisam ter com a saúde emocional.

De acordo com os dados da cartilha "Informando para prevenir", publicada pela Associação Brasileira de Psiquiatria, 96,8% dos casos de suicídio registrados estão associados com histórico de doenças mentais, que podem ser tratadas.
