RioMar e IJCPM lançam campanha de valorização da pessoa idosa na sociedade

Buscando valorizar e debater a necessidade de quebrar as barreiras entre as gerações, como também estereótipos e preconceitos, o Grupo JCPM, através do IJCPM e do RioMar Recife, lança uma campanha pelo Dia Internacional da Pessoa Idosa, celebrado no próximo dia 1º de outubro. A ação ocorre simultaneamente em outras três cidades (Fortaleza, Aracaju e Salvador) através dos shoppings e está inserida no calendário anual de iniciativas da JCPM sobre Inclusão e Diversidade debatidas na empresa. Atualmente, no Brasil, 34,4 milhões de pessoas têm 60 anos ou mais. No Recife, segundo o IBGE (2018), 12% da população está nessa faixa etária ou acima.

Com vídeo institucional e mensagens espalhadas nos pontos de contato e de grande circulação dentro dos shoppings, a campanha trabalha a reflexão com base na seguinte mensagem central: “Não tenha preconceito com o seu futuro”. Um vídeo com frases fortes sobre os desejos das pessoas ao envelhecerem é uma das peças de maior destaque e busca colocar todos na posição de refletir sobre o dia de amanhã. Vale destacar que a Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU) declarou a década atual como a do envelhecimento ativo.

“Dentro dos nossos debates sobre Inclusão e Diversidade, escolhemos temas que consideramos importantes para trabalhar nos empreendimentos ao longo do ano porque entendemos que os shoppings são locais também para despertamos a sociedade e convidarmos as pessoas a refletirem. E é preciso pensar sobre as posições ocupadas por pessoas idosas, algo que vem se transformando ao longo das décadas”, reflete a Diretora de Desenvolvimento Social do Grupo, Lucia Pontes.

O Conselho Municipal de Defesa dos Direitos da Pessoa Idosa do Recife, Ministério Público de Pernambuco (com a Promotoria da Pessoa Idosa), o Tribunal de Justiça de Pernambuco e o Conselho Estadual dos Direitos da Pessoa Idosa e Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Social, Criança e Juventude de Pernambuco, apoiam a iniciativa. “O Ministério Público apoia campanhas educativas que trazem à reflexão a importância da inclusão de todas as pessoas, sem qualquer distinção, e, no dia 1º de outubro, especialmente celebramos as pessoas idosas, promovendo a consciência do convívio e respeito intergeracional, com a visibilidade dos idosos como cidadãos que construíram e contribuem com nosso país, devendo ter seus direitos respeitados e suas vozes ouvidas nas esferas de poder, no âmbito da sociedade civil e em suas famílias”, destaca Luciana Maciel Dantas Figueiredo, 30ª Promotora de Justiça de Defesa da Cidadania, Promoção e Defesa dos Direitos da Pessoa Idosa.

Devido à pandemia, optou-se por não promover grandes debates com participação do público, valorizando o assunto nos canais de comunicação. Além do RioMar Recife, fazem parte da campanha os shoppings RioMar Fortaleza, Kennedy, Salvador Shopping, Salvador Norte Shopping, RioMar Aracaju e Shopping Jardins.

INCLUSÃO E DIVERSIDADE

O RioMar Recife lançou em 2019 uma campanha para elevar o número de colaboradores no shopping de pessoas com mais de 55 anos. Batizado de 55+, foi estimulada a captação de currículos a partir dessa faixa etária, incorporando também pessoas consideradas idosas pela legislação brasileira - que é a partir de 60 anos.

O Dia Internacional da Pessoa Idosa é a terceira data em que o Grupo JCPM realiza uma campanha para repensar com a sociedade temas de impacto para todos. O primeiro deles foi o trabalho infantil, onde a valorização da educação e dos direitos da criança foram enaltecidos. Instituições de relevância na área assinaram junto com os empreendimentos o movimento que ocorreu em abril. A segunda data foi o Dia do Orgulho LGBTQIA+, em junho, quando um vídeo destacava os direitos iguais a todo cidadão.
