Alunos de escolas públicas participam de atividades relacionadas ao Movimento e a (r)Evolução Maker

Um dos assuntos mais inovadores no mundo da educação e que tem sido destaque no mundo todo será abordado em escolas públicas do Recife em maio. A área de Responsabilidade Socioambiental do Plaza Shopping, em parceria com o Fab Lab Recife, promove a palestra “O Movimento e a (r)Evolução Maker” nos dias 9 e 17 de maio nas escolas de referência Silva Jardim e José Vilela. O objetivo é despertar a criatividade dos alunos e mostrar que eles são capazes de construir o conhecimento e não, simplesmente, consumi-lo “pronto”.

As turmas que vão participar dos encontros serão convidadas a se engajarem em um desafio: criar uma invenção a partir de peças desenvolvidas com fabricação digital. Essas peças são adaptações do protótipo do "helicóptero" de Leonardo da Vinci, ou parafuso helicoidal aéreo, ou simplesmente parafuso aéreo, que foi um dos projetos extremamente inovadores do mais versátil e completos artistas da história da humanidade. Além dessa experimentação mão na massa, o Fab Lab vai apresentar o conceito de cultura, do movimento maker e como esse pensamento e atitude podem transformar o nosso dia a dia e construir um mundo melhor.

Jakeline Soares, coordenadora de Responsabilidade Ambiental do Plaza Shopping, conta que o projeto sempre apresenta temáticas contemporâneas para os alunos. “Com isso, oferecemos conteúdos importantes que vão se somar na formação profissional desses jovens. Também viabilizamos oportunidade para que despertem seus talentos e coloquem em prática muitas ideias a partir desses estímulos”, comentou.

A origem do Movimento Maker movimento está no conceito do DIY (do inglês, “do it yourself”), que significa “faça você mesmo”. Ele pode ser considerado uma espécie de vertente das metodologias ativas que têm como característica o protagonismo do aluno na sua aprendizagem.

AÇÕES DO PLAZA - Desde 2010, o Plaza realiza ações de Responsabilidade Socioambiental. O empreendimento assume seu compromisso socioambiental e desenvolve atividades e ações a partir dos seguintes eixos de atuação: educação e formação profissional, voluntariado corporativo, apoio a grupos e instituições, incentivo a atitudes sustentáveis, com atividades focadas na conscientização do descarte correto do lixo, na reutilização dos resíduos sólidos urbanos e na melhoria da mobilidade.
