Exposição Mundos em Miniatura entra em cartaz no Shopping Tacaruna

O Shopping Tacaruna recebe de 02 a 30 de setembro, a exposição “Mundos em Miniatura”, mostra sobre plastimodelismo, instalada no Espaço Cultural, no segundo pavimento do mall. São cerca de 200 peças em miniaturas detalhadas de automóveis antigos e novos, ônibus, caminhões, trens, aviões, helicópteros, navios, competições, serviços, além de personagens de filmes, cartoons e dioramas (cenários em miniaturas).

O material foi cedido por alguns colecionadores do Recife, entre eles, o arquiteto Nelson Ferreira Neto, de 57 anos, que possui cerca de 5 mil itens de miniaturas em sua coleção particular, entre peças nacionais e importadas. Ele fala que coleciona o material há 50 anos. “Como acontece com muitos colecionadores, não achamos um motivo para explicar esse hobby. Comigo simplesmente aconteceu. Ganhei as primeiras peças quando era criança e com o passar do tempo, a paixão foi aumentando. Vou ganhando e comprando novas peças e a coleção só cresce”, conta ele. “Muitos amigos quando viajam para fora do Brasil, lembram de mim e trazem miniaturas que encontram”, acrescenta o arquiteto.

Plastimodelismo é o nome da técnica que tem como resultado uma reprodução fiel do original em escala reduzida. Há quem acredite que recriar e colecionar miniaturas parece brincadeira de criança. No entanto, engana-se quem pensa dessa forma. Essa arte é levada à sério por muitos adultos, que dedicam tempo, paciência, estudo e dinheiro para conseguir construir as réplicas.

Encontram-se à venda no varejo, diversos kits de plastimodelismo, onde o modelista retrata temas históricos ou da sua criatividade, seja montando, colando ou pintando. Os kits normalmente vêm em uma caixa, que inclui um manual de instruções para montagem e pintura e uma folha de decalque. Um kit de plastimodelismo varia de R$ 69,00 e R$600,00. A acesso à exposição “Mundos em Miniatura” é gratuito.
