Campanha cadastra doadores de medula para ação no Expresso Cidadão do RioMar

Uma parceria entre a Secretaria de Administração (SAD), por meio do Programa Expresso Cidadão, e a Fundação de Hematologia e Hemoterapia de Pernambuco (Hemope) foi firmada com o objetivo de ampliar o número de pessoas cadastradas como doadoras voluntárias de medula óssea. A instituição já está realizando o cadastro online e no dia 13 de julho será a ação da coleta na unidade do Expresso Cidadão Pina, localizada no RioMar Recife.  Para participar, é preciso realizar o agendamento, que está disponível no site https://www.pecidadao.pe.gov.br/#/agendamento .

Para se cadastrar, é necessário ter entre 18 e 35 anos e o doador permanece no cadastro até os 60 anos, podendo realizar a doação até esta idade. Para isso, deve apresentar bom estado de saúde e não ter doença impeditiva para cadastro e doação de medula. O maior número de pessoas cadastradas aumenta as chances de ajudar pessoas que precisam de medula. Segundo Hemope, a chance de encontrar uma medula compatível entre irmãos é de 25% e entre pessoas que não são parentes pode chegar de 1 em 100 mil até 1 em 1 milhão. Além do ato de solidariedade, o doador cadastrado no Registro Nacional de Doadores de Medula Óssea (REDOME) tem direito a meia-entrada em cinemas, teatros e espetáculos, nos termos da Lei n° 16.724/2019.

Para participar, o interessado deve seguir alguns passos: realizar o agendamento no site: www.pecidadao.pe.gov.br/#/agendamento; apresentar documentação necessária; assistir apresentação explicativa sobre o processo de doação de medula óssea e esclarecer eventuais dúvidas; assinar termo de consentimento e coletar amostra de sangue (5 ml) para exame de tipagem HLA.

Transplante

O transplante de medula óssea é indicado para o tratamento de cerca de 80 doenças relacionadas às células do sangue e deficiências no sistema imunológico, como leucemias, linfomas, doenças do sistema imune em geral, dos gânglios e do baço, anemias graves, além de mielodisplasias, doenças do metabolismo e vários tipos de tumores.
