Shoppings recebem doações de alimentos na campanha Alimente a Vida

Os shoppings pernambucanos estão com pontos de coleta para receber doações de alimentos até o Natal. Toda a arrecadação será destinada para comunidades e instituições, que serão identificadas e escolhidas pela instituição Transforma Brasil, parceira da Associação Pernambucana de Shopping Centers (Apesce) nesta ação. A campanha solidária “Alimente a vida” vai até o dia 24 de dezembro.

Participam da campanha todos os shoppings da Região Metropolitana do Recife (RioMar, Recife, Tacaruna, Boa Vista, Plaza, Guararapes, Patteo Olinda, Camará, Paulista North Way, Igarassu e Costa Dourada) e mais os shoppings Difusora e Polo, de Caruaru, e o Serra Talhada, no sertão do estado.

Este terceiro ano da ação conjunta tem algumas novidades. Para cada doação recebida, os shoppings vão fazer uma doação de igual valor ou quantidade. E em vários shoppings, o cliente que levar alimentos poderá encontrar desconto em alguma atração natalina, como um ingresso social.

Clientes, lojistas e empresas interessadas podem entregar itens não perecíveis ou fazer a doação em dinheiro para uma conta da campanha, usando o código pix alimenteavida@apesce.com.br tendo o valor revertido para a compra de mais alimentos.

“Esta é uma ajuda a quem mais precisa e queremos motivar clientes e parceiros para contribuir. Os shoppings doam uma parte e envolvem toda a sociedade. Esperamos um resultado ainda melhor do que nos anos anteriores para beneficiar uma grande quantidade de famílias”, afirma José Luiz Muniz, presidente da Apesce. Na campanha realizada em 2022 foram entregues 20 toneladas de alimentos.

O mapeamento das entregas é feito pelo Transforma Brasil. A entrega em instituições e comunidades será feita logo após o Natal. “O Transforma Brasil é a maior plataforma de voluntariado do Brasil, com mais de 1 milhão de voluntários e 7 mil iniciativas sociais cadastradas em sua plataforma. O movimento contabiliza mais de 3,5 milhões de horas de voluntariado”, explica Fabio Silva CEO do Transforma Brasil.

PONTOS DE ARRECADAÇÂO – Cada shopping tem pelo menos um ponto de arrecadação e para receber a doação de quantidades maiores de alimentos, os shoppings reservaram espaço para armazenamento.

NÚMEROS DOS SHOPPINGS – Em Pernambuco, há 21 shopping centers em atividade, totalizando mais de três mil lojas, 50 mil empregos diretos e cerca de 200 mil indiretos. Em um mês, cerca de 15 milhões de visitas são feitas aos shoppings do estado.
