Jovens do Instituto Shopping Guararapes apresentam projetos inovadores em Feira de Robótica

No pós-Carnaval, dias 15 e 16, tem programação educativa no Shopping Guararapes: uma Feira de Robótica realizada pelo Instituto Shopping Guararapes em colaboração com a Softex - uma associação sem fins lucrativos de empresas de Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação (TIC). A feira acontece na Praça de Eventos do Shopping, abrindo às 10h30 e encerrando às 19h. O acesso é gratuito. Além da exposição de protótipos dos projetos elaborados pelos jovens integrantes do Instituto durante o ano de 2023, serão promovidas oficinas e competições de robôs.

Durante a feira, os alunos do Instituto apresentarão sete protótipos dos projetos inovadores que foram desenvolvidos por eles no curso de Robótica, concluído em dezembro passado. Alguns dos projetos são a "Lixeira Inteligente" e o "Sensor para pessoas com deficiência visual". A lixeira inteligente é equipada com sensores que monitoram o nível de lixo e alerta quando estiver saturada, já o sensor para pessoas com deficiência visual tem como objetivo facilitar a mobilidade e a segurança dessas pessoas e trata-se de um dispositivo instalado numa pochete que sinaliza quando algo está próximo.

Flávia Souza, coordenadora do Instituto, expressou a importância da iniciativa, afirmando: "Esta feira não apenas oferece uma plataforma para os jovens demonstrarem suas habilidades e criatividade que ficaram em evidência durante o curso, mas também desempenha um papel fundamental ao despertar o interesse e estimular desde cedo, o interesse pela tecnologia."

Entre os projetos desenvolvidos pelos jovens alunos, destaca-se ainda o "Sensor de CO2", que monitora as emissões de dióxido de carbono (CO2) em estacionamentos. O CO2 é um gás nocivo ao ser humano, podendo em excesso, ser letal. Sendo assim, o produto age como um dispositivo que ao detectar o excesso do CO2, ativa um alarme disparando um exaustor que irá fazer a retirada do gás do local. Essa aplicação tecnológica também protege a saúde das pessoas. Os jovens interessados em tecnologia e inovação ainda podem aproveitar as oficinas gratuitas, manusear impressora 3D e acompanhar competições entre robôs que vão acontecer na arena montada no espaço.
