“Capiba, pelas ruas eu vou”, do Aria Social, homenageia personalidades ligadas à cultura pernambucana no Teatro RioMar

O musical “CAPIBA, pelas ruas eu vou”, do projeto Aria Social, retorna ao palco do Teatro RioMar nesta quinta-feira (dia 6 de junho), a partir das 20h. Abraçando diversas linguagens artísticas com muita inovação e criatividade, o espetáculo une música, canto coral e dança com teatro, cinema e fotografia, em um mosaico que reflete a multifacetada obra de um dos maiores compositores pernambucanos de todos os tempos. O projeto Aria Social aproveita a sessão no RioMar para homenagear duas grandes personalidades ligadas à cultura de Pernambuco.

Uma das homenageadas é Geralda Farias que, há 89 anos, trabalha pela arte popular pernambucana, considerada pela empresária instrumento de fomento à diversidade da economia criativa do Estado. O tributo reconhece a força e importância dada por Geralda à cultura, ao longo da sua vida pública.

Filha dos afamados arquitetos Acácio Gil Borsoi e Janete Costa, Roberta Borsoi também será homenageada pelo projeto. Seguindo os passos dos seus pais, a arquiteta recebe o tributo pela sua dedicação à montagem de exposições e projetos ligados à arte e ao artesanato popular. Além disso, desde 2003, ela se destaca na elaboração dos Espaços de Interferência da Fenearte. 

O espetáculo

Em cena, 45 talentosos bailarinos-cantores e 19 músicos trazem a história do compositor pernambucano Lourenço da Fonseca Barbosa (1904-1997), mais conhecido como Capiba, à vida. Nascido em Surubim, no Agreste pernambucano, foi filho de um mestre de banda e aprendeu a ler partituras antes mesmo das palavras. Após morar na Paraíba, Capiba se mudou para Recife aos 26 anos, onde trabalhou no Banco do Brasil e cursou a Faculdade de Direito do Recife, embora nunca tenha exercido a advocacia. Sua primeira composição de sucesso foi a “Valsa Verde” em 1931.

Através de frevos dos anos 1930, valsas apaixonadas, sambas, maracatus, cirandas, marchas e ópera, a trama do musical “CAPIBA, pelas ruas eu vou” é tecida em apresentações ao vivo, com uma orquestra de câmara, projeções de cinema e fotografias, que surpreendem e oferecem ao público uma experiência inesquecível.

Desenvolvido com o objetivo de valorizar a rica e plural cultura pernambucana, o espetáculo é recorde de público, na sua décima temporada, sendo aclamado por cerca de 14 mil espectadores, em 30 apresentações. “Convidamos o público a viver conosco essa experiência inesquecível e se surpreender com a riqueza musical e o legado da obra de Capiba”, reforça a bailarina, presidente do Aria Social e diretora-geral do espetáculo, Cecília Brennand. 

Próximas sessões

O Teatro Santa Isabel também recebe o musical, nos próximos dias 13 e 14, a partir das 19h30, no dia 15, às 19h, e no dia 16 às 17h. Como de praxe, haverá uma sessão extra para as escolas públicas da Região Metropolitana do Recife, no dia 14, às 16h.

Em agosto, o espetáculo chega pela primeira vez a São Paulo com apresentações no Teatro Santander, nos dias 05 e 06 de agosto, e no Teatro Frei Caneca, em 13 e 14 do mesmo mês. “Estamos felizes em levar nossa cultura para São Paulo de forma tão grandiosa e com isso fortalecê-la, pois para nós Capiba não é só uma grande personalidade de Pernambuco, mas um bem patrimonial de todo o Brasil”, afirma Cecília.  

“CAPIBA, pelas ruas eu vou” tem direção geral de Cecília Brennand. Direção musical, regência e arranjos de Rosemary Oliveira, que também atua no espetáculo como maestrina, violonista e pianista. Concepção, direção artística e coreografia de Ana Emília Freire, figurino de Beth Gaudêncio, direção audiovisual e videografia de Max Levoy e Ana Emília Freire, design de luz e operação de Cleison Ramos, design de som e operação de Isabel Brito. Os ingressos no Teatro RioMar e no Teatro Santa Isabel já estão disponíveis para venda, a partir de R$25.

Sobre o Aria Social 

O Aria Espaço de Dança e Arte foi criado em 1991 pela bailarina Cecília Brennand com o objetivo de abrigar e integrar todas as artes e contribuir para sua democratização cultural.  Em 2004, foi transformado em Organização da Sociedade Civil de Interesse Público (Oscip), sendo uma instituição sem fins lucrativos, e passou a se chamar Aria Social.

O projeto tem como missão promover a transformação humana através da arte-educação, oferecendo a formação e profissionalização na música e na dança. Hoje atende 588 crianças e jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade social, além de apoiar as famílias desses alunos, oferecendo capacitação em técnicas de artesanato e fomentando o empreendedorismo social a 140 mães artesãs, por meio do projeto Casa de Maria, fundado em 2017.
