Maior exposição imersiva sobre a Capela Sistina no Brasil estreia no RioMar Recife

A maior exposição imersiva já realizada no Brasil sobre a Capela Sistina e os afrescos de Michelangelo estreou para o público nesta quinta-feira, dia 18 de julho, no RioMar Recife. Essa é a primeira parada após temporada em São Paulo.  “Michelangelo: O Mestre da Capela Sistina” traz para a capital pernambucana a experiência de entrar na Capela por meio de uma reprodução animada das paredes e teto com escala semelhante à original, além das representações de algumas das mais importantes obras artísticas da humanidade. A mostra tem ingressos a partir de R$ 30, à venda na Bilheteria Digital.

Para se ter uma ideia da grandiosidade da exposição, "Michelangelo: O Mestre da Capela Sistina" ocupa mais de mil metros quadrados no piso L3 do mall com 15 salas contendo réplicas de obras, manuscritos, desenhos e esculturas em tamanho real, incluindo uma novidade exclusiva e diferente da temporada do ano passado no MIS Experience (SP): um ambiente imersivo dedicado à famosa "Pietà", escultura que representa a Virgem Maria segurando seu filho Jesus nos braços.

Na contagem regressiva para os 550 anos de um dos maiores artistas de todos os tempos, a reprodução gigante da Capela Sistina, com estrutura criada exclusivamente para o evento, proporciona ao público uma experiência inédita. A sala dedicada à imersão com a projeção conta com recursos de alta tecnologia de animação e sonorização, promovendo um mergulho dos visitantes nas obras de Michelangelo. Detalhes sobre cada grupo de afrescos criados pelo pintor renascentista italiano compõem a experiência.

Afora a sala de imersão com projeções gigantes no teto e nas paredes, a mostra conta com espaços dedicados à arquitetura, história e curiosidades da Capela Sistina. Há uma seção dedicada ao Conclave, reunião dos cardeais para escolher um novo Papa, assim como a réplica da chave da Capela Sistina, trazida diretamente do Vaticano.

Os conteúdos dos ambientes, elaborados pelo curador da exposição, o professor e historiador da arte Luiz Cesar Marques Filho, trazem informações sobre a construção da Capela, suas tradições e seu uso pelo Vaticano, com destaque para maquete que reproduz afrescos e detalhes interiores. Os visitantes podem conferir desenhos, estudos e projetos de Michelangelo. A reprodução em larga escala do ateliê do artista é um dos destaques da seção, que apresenta gravuras gigantes das obras, cartas, manuscritos e documentos sobre o processo de desenvolvimento dos afrescos.

As réplicas das esculturas selecionadas contemplam diferentes fases da trajetória de Michelangelo. Entre elas está uma das suas primeiras peças, “Madonna da escada” (1491), que retrata a Virgem Maria sentada em uma escada segurando e cobrindo seu filho, enquanto ele dorme. “Centauromaquia” ou “A batalha dos centauros” remete à fase em que o artista começa a destacar a nudez como forma de representar a beleza. A réplica certificada de “Madonna de Bruges” (1501/1504), destaque no filme “Caçadores de obras-primas”, estrelado por George Clooney, também faz parte da exposição, assim como a “Pietà de Rondanini” (1552), conhecida como a última obra inacabada de Michelangelo.

Além da Capela e de toda experiência imersiva pela história, nas últimas salas os visitantes podem ver de perto a reprodução em tamanho real da escultura de David, que, situada em Florença, é uma das obras mais visitadas no mundo. A peça original tem mais de 5 metros de altura (mesmo tamanho que poderá ser vista na exposição), foi feita em mármore branco e pesa cerca de 5 toneladas. Michelangelo tinha apenas 26 anos quando entregou a obra.

"Michelangelo: O Mestre da Capela Sistina" é uma realização do Ministério da Cultura, Boldly Go, Deeplab Project e Festa Cheia, por meio da Lei Federal de Incentivo à Cultura. Com correalização do MIS Experience e do Governo de São Paulo, por meio da Secretaria de Economia e Indústria Criativas, a mostra tem patrocínio master do Itaú, patrocínio ouro da Fiat, Brasilcap, RioMar Recife, Uninassau, patrocínio prata das empresas Baterias Moura e Grupo Parvi.
