Abril Cultural Shopping Recife: grandes intervenções artísticas marcam nova edição da mostra

Desde a sua fundação, há 45 anos, o Shopping Recife se destaca pela valorização e projeção da cultura, trazendo ao mall o conceito de “galeria de arte”. O Parque das Esculturas — formado por 33 obras de artistas locais e nacionais —, as entradas sociais com peças do grandioso Francisco Brennand e da artista visual Suely Brasileiro, os elevadores que exibem obras do cordelista, poeta e xilógrafo J. Borges, os banheiros cuja ambientação leva a assinatura da multifacetada Joana Lira, e os valets que expõem peças de grandes nomes da arte popular de Pernambuco são alguns dos exemplos que contam essa história.

Seguindo esse propósito, a partir desta sexta-feira (4/4), o Shopping Recife realiza a 2ª edição do Abril Cultural sob o tema “Pernambuco em cena: Raízes, Cores e Vozes”. A mostra apresentará diferentes linguagens e expressões artísticas, honrando tradições e valorizando a arte contemporânea, por meio de uma coletiva de obras e artistas que ocuparão diversos espaços do mall. Em reconhecimento à sua importância no cenário cultural, a gastronomia e a música também farão parte deste projeto.

Derlon, arte e inovação

Com uma trajetória de quase 20 anos, Derlon constrói uma produção artística marcada por tensões criativas, onde a arte urbana, a xilogravura tradicional e as linguagens contemporâneas dialogam de forma vibrante e complexa. Artista visual de reconhecimento internacional, ele assina duas grandes obras para esta edição, trazendo uma nova experiência ao público: um mega painel na fachada próxima ao Parque das Esculturas e um mural no túnel de entrada do Edifício Garagem D, que conecta o estacionamento ao shopping. As intervenções reforçam o posicionamento vanguardista do equipamento, o único do País a apresentar esse tipo de manifestação cultural.

Artwall por todo o Shopping

Durante todo o mês de abril, o público poderá mergulhar nesse universo cultural por meio de uma coletiva de intervenções assinadas por cinco artistas visuais pernambucanos de destaque nacional, Nathê Ferreira, Glauber Arbos, Alê Lopes, Jade Matos e Jota Zer0ff. Com diferentes poéticas, pesquisas e cosmologias, esses nomes compartilham um elo com seus territórios originários. As obras serão exibidas em nove pontos de artwall e painéis de LED espalhados pelos corredores do shopping.

Em parceria com o Instituto Shopping Recife, a artista e educadora social Nathê Ferreira apresentará um trabalho em homenagem à comunidade de Entra Apulso, vizinha ao Shopping Recife, na Zona Sul da cidade.

“O Abril Cultural é uma celebração do que somos: um povo rico em cores, sons, sabores e histórias. A cada edição, buscamos fortalecer esse diálogo entre tradição e contemporaneidade, proporcionando ao público uma experiência imersiva na identidade pernambucana. Seja pelas artes visuais, pela gastronomia ou pela música, queremos que o Shopping Recife continue sendo um espaço de valorização da nossa cultura e de encontro com as nossas raízes”, pontua Renata Cavalcanti, superintendente do Shopping Recife.

Gastronomia e música

Elementos fundamentais na construção da identidade de um povo, a gastronomia e a música ganham destaque na abertura da mostra com a Feirinha Gastrô, que reúne sabores tradicionais e apresentações musicais de artistas pernambucanos. O evento movimentará a área ao lado do Terraço de Eventos do mall nos dias 4, 5 e 6/4, e 11, 12 e 13/4, sempre a partir das 16h.

O público poderá saborear pratos assinados por nomes estrelados da gastronomia local, como os chefes César Santos, Claudinha Luna e Rapha Vasconcelos, além da participação do Instituto Shopping Recife. Haverá também delícias da Hope Burger, com sua hamburgueria artesanal, e também sobremesas assinadas pela Assucar (Associação da Confeitaria de Pernambuco).

Ao todo, serão dez operações com receitas autorais, regionais e internacionais, incluindo estandes de vinhos, cervejas artesanais e caipifrutas. Durante os dias do festival, o espaço contará ainda com apresentações musicais de bandas pernambucanas, a partir das 199h, em uma programação gratuita e aberta ao público de todas as idades.
