Cabo de Santo Agostinho sedia Campeonato Mundial de Kickboxing Ultimax

Nos dias 27 e 28 deste mês, o Shopping Costa Dourada recebe um evento inédito no Brasil, o Campeonato Mundial de Kickboxing Ultimax. A competição terá a participação de cerca de 60 atletas, de países como Chile, Argentina e República Dominicana. Já o Brasil será representado por competidores de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná e Pernambuco, entre outros estados.

Destaque para a presença especial do campeão mundial Anthony Guzmán, da Argentina.

O evento ocorre em espaço montado na área externa do Shopping Costa Dourada e tem entrada gratuita, vinculada à doação de 1kg de alimento não perecível.

Ao longo dos dois dias, o público poderá acompanhar combates nas modalidades Infantil e Juvenil, com entrega de medalhas para o 1º, 2º e 3º colocados em cada categoria (individual e equipe); bem como Adulto Masculino e Feminino, cujos atletas disputam o cinturão de campeão, título máximo da modalidade.

Serão 42 lutas ao todo, incluindo finais e semifinais, e 11 cinturões em jogo.

Um dos destaques da programação do evento será debate sobre inclusão seguido do lançamento em Pernambuco do Projeto Futsuros, iniciativa que visa a inserção de pessoas com deficiência (PcD) no esporte.

O Campeonato Mundial de Kickboxing Ultimax é vinculado à Federação dos Emirados Árabes Unidos. No Brasil, ela é representada pela Federação Pernambucana de Taekwondo Pro Fit, organizadora do evento. A entidade é sediada no Cabo de Santo Agostinho.

- A partir das 14h: Finais das lutas e entrega das premiações.
